CTAB ELITE AGE GROUPS

GIRLS

7TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete
that is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2026.

8TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete
that is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026.

9TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete
that is in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2026.

10TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2026. For an
athlete that is in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 16 on or before August 31,
2026.

11TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2026. For an
athlete that is in the 12th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 17 on or before August 31,
2026.

Age Requirements to Play Down a Grade Division

12th Grade 11th Grade Born on or after 8/31/2009

11th Grade 10th Grade Born on or after 8/31/2010

10th Grade 9th Grade Born on or after 8/31/2011

9th Grade 8th Grade Born on or after 8/31/2012

8th Grade 7th Grade Born on or after 8/31/2013

BOYS

10U/4th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2026. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 10U/4th Grade division.

14U/8th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 14U/8th Grade division. 
 

15U/9TH GRADE

An athlete can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2026. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 9th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2026 is eligible to compete in the 15U/9th Grade division.

 

16U/10TH GRADE 

An athlete can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2026. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 10th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2026 is eligible to compete in the 16U/10th Grade division.

 

17U/11TH GRADE 

An athlete can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2026. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 11th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2026 is eligible to compete in the 17U/11th Grade division.

AGE BASED COMPETITION RULES

10 & Under: An athlete can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2026

14 & Under: An athlete can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026

Program Expenditures for CTAB Non-Profit Organization

 

All training proceeds will be disseminated throughout the program as follows: 

 

Training dollars will support CTAB mission, specifically subsidized scholarships, to the extent possible, for those students that may not be able to participate otherwise due to costs.  Monetary benefits will also sustain overhead and administration necessities needed to keep the program current.
