Name: Tamye Crutchfield

Position within the organization: Secretary

Served on CTAB BOD: 2018-Present

Tamara Crutchfield has 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. While working in traditional child care centers, for many years she observed that many students ages 5-12 represented an uninspired age group. It was a continual challenge for teachers to keep students engaged in meaningful activities in traditional before and after school care programs because they were centered around play groups rather than fostering an atmosphere for students to explore their individual passions and interests. She has always been a firm believer that when students are offered the opportunity to explore their passions and purpose, they will develop inner knowledge and strength that will prepare them for a greater purpose in the world. She developed the concept of a student driven, innovative solution that is Inspired Explorations. She is Inspired Explorations Chief Exploration Officer. With this background, she was excited when she came across CTAB's mission and that it was centered in her hometown. Through her experiences and passion, she wanted to continue to do work for the youth in any community possible.
