Building Fund

For the past 10 years, Cross-Training Athletes into Believers (CTAB) has played an important role in our community, by utilizing basketball training as a way to empower student-athletes on and off the basketball court. This important work is supported largely by the trainees and the backing of generous donors who contribute to our organization.

While this has been a blessing, reliance on others has also inhibited the organization’s ability for long-term scheduling and planning. With our own facility, CTAB will be able to more efficiently and effectively execute its mission to empower youth on and off the court now and into the future.

Currently, CTAB has initiated an aggressive capital campaign to raise $250,000 by end of 2023. Our goal of $250,000 will allow us to have our own facility, where we can continue to provide our much needed services to those youth in our community without any hindrance on space, time, and resources. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, these needs will likely go unmet.

ORGANIZATION

PRIORITY INITIATIVES

CTAB currently relies on local government facilities, friends, and business associates to secure regular space needed to execute its programs.  While this has been a blessing, reliance on others has also inhibited the organization’s ability for long-term scheduling and planning.  With our own facility, CTAB will be able to more efficiently and effectively execute its mission to empower youth on and off the court now and into the future.

CTAB has a strong desire, to not only grow athletes on the court, but to also create successful students and citizens off the court.  CTAB will help support parents and youth in areas of life that isn't always a focus in the basketball arena.  From social media to public behavior; grades to scholarships; building your brand to supporting your community; and cultivating spirituality and respect... CTAB will host classroom setting forums to discuss, encourage, and develop our youth mentally, physically, and spiritually.

CTAB Student-Athlete Training Scholarship Program.

The intent of this program is to provide financial assistance to families that might not otherwise be able to afford the full cost of high quality training and mentorship.  This assistance is granted in the form of partial scholarships, contingent upon the availability of funds.

A new  indoor basketball facility will allow all CTAB trainees, athletic teams and other county, travel and school teams to have a place to practice and train all year round. The facility will feature a full court high school size court, and the design includes innovative lighting, film review room, strength and conditioning area and a 20 foot ceiling clearance height; it will also contain support facilities including restrooms and storage.

Community Outreach Programs and Partnerships

CTAB is more than just a training organization.  We value reaching out to those who embark on the same missions as ours:

empowering youth and future leaders of tomorrow! The facility will allow CTAB to hold community events and our annual fundraiser to continue to be a positive impact on our community.
